Class description:

Blogs are much more than just online journals - they're a powerful way to build community, and an excellent marketing tool -- that is, if you use them wisely. In this class, we'll discuss techniques for building a compelling blog, attracting a wide audience, and then directing attention to your own art/craft business. We'll also talk about click-through ads and affiliate marketing programs. You'll leave with lots of good resources for further research and tools for getting started.

Testimonials:

"I wasn't looking for anything specific-but found lots!"

"Love Diane, love collage-Thank you!"

-satisfied DIY Lounge students.

Special notes and items to bring:

Prerequisites: This class is best for people who are already comfortable navigating the internet. You don't have to have a blog, but ideally you've read at least a few. We won't have a computer in the classroom, so please come prepared to take some notes. We now have a blogging 102 class too!
