Class description:
Let instructor Dawn Sorem show you how to make some really adorable gift boxes out of paper! These boxes are shaped like the traditional Chinese food take-out boxes and can be used as a cute and creative gift box this holiday season or anytime! Their are many different ways to adorn them which allows these little boxes to be used for any season. Dawn will show you some different techniques. These boxes are so wonderful you will not want to give them away, but don’t worry, you get to take the template home and make as many of them as you want too! All levels welcome.

- DIY Lounge is located at collage, a locally owned business that sells art supplies with a class space in the back. We have two locations in the Portland, Oregon area.
Visit our locations page addresses and directions. - On average we require a minimum of 3 students to run a class. Class minimums are decided by teachers depending on the needs of the class. If registration is lower, the class will be cancelled and any students who have registered will be notified via email.
- If a class is cancelled we can apply your payment toward another class registration or refund your money in full. Your choice!
- Online pre-registration is required, but exceptions can be made on a case-by-case basis. If you require an exception, please use our contact page and let us know your situation.
- At least 48 hour notice is required if you need to cancel your class registration.
- Be sure to check the supply list provided in the class notes and bring those items with you to the class.
