Class description:
With the holidays just around the corner, make sure you have that perfect cocktail ring for a special party or for a super fabulous gift! You will learn how to how to make a wire wrapped ring using basic wire wrapping techniques. This is the most forgiving technique perfect for those just starting out or for those with a bit more experience. Use one large stone or many small beads to make a ring out of brass, silver-toned, or gold-toned wire. The wire provided in class is inexpensive wire for testing techniques in class.
Special notes and items to bring:
If you want more wire for home DIY-ing you can purchase 20 gauge wire at collage. Various beads and stones will be provided by the teacher or you can bring your own if you have some favorites.

- DIY Lounge is located at collage, a locally owned business that sells art supplies with a class space in the back. We have two locations in the Portland, Oregon area.
Visit our locations page addresses and directions. - On average we require a minimum of 3 students to run a class. Class minimums are decided by teachers depending on the needs of the class. If registration is lower, the class will be cancelled and any students who have registered will be notified via email.
- If a class is cancelled we can apply your payment toward another class registration or refund your money in full. Your choice!
- Online pre-registration is required, but exceptions can be made on a case-by-case basis. If you require an exception, please use our contact page and let us know your situation.
- At least 48 hour notice is required if you need to cancel your class registration.
- Be sure to check the supply list provided in the class notes and bring those items with you to the class.
