Class description:
In this class, we will be using pre-primed, recycled 7" vinyl records as the canvas for a very special holiday painting and craft project. Students will create mandalas using shapes, symbols, and images centered around their personal holiday memories. The mandalas will be painted with high quality acrylic paints and then we will attach small round mirrors to peek through the 2" hole in the center of the record, creating a beautiful, functional, easy-to-make holiday decoration. Make as many as you like during the time allotted.
Special notes and items to bring:
Please bring your own acrylic paints or purchase some from Collage. Records, mirrors, and some paints will be provided. You may want to purchase a new paintbrush or two as well. All other supplies included.

- DIY Lounge is located at collage, a locally owned business that sells art supplies with a class space in the back. We have two locations in the Portland, Oregon area.
Visit our locations page addresses and directions. - On average we require a minimum of 3 students to run a class. Class minimums are decided by teachers depending on the needs of the class. If registration is lower, the class will be cancelled and any students who have registered will be notified via email.
- If a class is cancelled we can apply your payment toward another class registration or refund your money in full. Your choice!
- Online pre-registration is required, but exceptions can be made on a case-by-case basis. If you require an exception, please use our contact page and let us know your situation.
- At least 48 hour notice is required if you need to cancel your class registration.
- Be sure to check the supply list provided in the class notes and bring those items with you to the class.
