Class description:
Have you been crafting alone in your bedroom or studio, thinking how nice it would be if there were other crafty folks around to keep you company? Then it's time to start your own arts & crafts collective! This class will teach you all the steps you will need to take in order to make the community of your dreams. From meeting new people to how to structure craft nights, workshops, clothes swaps and more, this class has all the bases covered. Taught by craft collective connoisseur Janina Bain.

Read this before you register
- DIY Lounge is located at collage, a locally owned business that sells art supplies with a class space in the back. We have two locations in the Portland, Oregon area.
Visit our locations page addresses and directions. - On average we require a minimum of 3 students to run a class. Class minimums are decided by teachers depending on the needs of the class. If registration is lower, the class will be cancelled and any students who have registered will be notified via email.
- If a class is cancelled we can apply your payment toward another class registration or refund your money in full. Your choice!
- Online pre-registration is required, but exceptions can be made on a case-by-case basis. If you require an exception, please use our contact page and let us know your situation.
- At least 48 hour notice is required if you need to cancel your class registration.
- Be sure to check the supply list provided in the class notes and bring those items with you to the class.
