Beginning Soldering
Soldering is a great way to set your work above the rest. From collage jewelry to baubles, ornaments, fairy wings...you name it, the sky is the limit. Attend this soldering workshop to learn the basics, perfect your skills or learn additional techniques.
Buckman After School Art
We have two art classes at Buckman Elementary School the week of September 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th from 3:30-5:30. Fiber Arts for kids is for Kindergarten to 2nd grade, taught by fiber artist and teacher Cathy Pitters. We also have Painting and Drawing for 3rd to 5th grade, taught by artist and teacher Christine Claringbold.
Sugar Skulls: Celebrate Dia de los Muertos
Celebrate Dia de los Muertos with this Mexican Sugar Skull decorating class! Sugar skulls are traditionally made in Mexico to honor loved ones who have passed and displayed during the Day of the Dead celebration on November 2nd. In this two-part class, students will have the opportunity to make and decorate two sugar skulls.
Artmaking as Playful Prayer
In this workshop, we explore art-making as a playful, joyous, and non-judgmental way of reconnecting with the creative self and our sources of inspiration. This six-week workshop is for anyone who wants to rediscover their own creative power and connection to the greater world.
